Ling  gained worldwide attention in the nineties performing in “Red corner“ with Richard  Gere, as well as in numerous blockbusters along with Gwyneth Paltrow, Jude Law, Will Smith, Ben Affleck and many others.
One of the worlds leading Lingerie producers TRIUMPH international was inviting Bai Ling to appear as a celebrity guest at their glamorous PR event in Valencia during the America`s cup challenge. Bai Ling inspired the Spanish team and was, like at the Berlin film festival, earlier this year, the most photographed personality.

Wolfgang Schwarz, a native Austrian, created the idea to bring her to Vienna as the star guest and laudatory of the “Romy awards“, an Austrian version of the “Oscars “.

Ling who is a big admirer of Mozart and all classical music , fell in love with the sights of the city and was very impressed by the Vienna opera after watching “Simone Boccanegra“.

After a week of work and fun, especially the Austrian food, even in Valencia she enjoyed the America`s cup caterer Do&Co , and the nightlife in Vienna and Valencia, she flew back to New York where she presented her part in Angelina Jolie`s charity film project at Robert de Niro`s  Tribeca Film festival.

Bai Ling who has just finished her first book, “The life of a crazy movie star” will come back to join the CANNES film festival, introducing her new movie “Shanghai baby“.
